Ferrari and Google team up for a virtual visit to the Ferrari Museum

Thanks to the evolution of technology, you can now have your first visit to the Ferrari Museum in Italy without even leaving the comfort of your own home.

Google have used their Street View technology to digitalise a 360-degree online panoramic of a walking tour of the Museo Enzo Ferrari in Modena and the Ferrari Museum of Maranello. The virtual tour allows fans of Ferrari to familiarise themselves with the two Prancing Horse museums. Viewing exhibitions like “Genius and Secrets” at the Maranello museum, “Engine Museum” and “Ferrari’s homage to Pavarotti” at the Modena museum.

The “Genius and Secrets” exhibition focuses on eight different secret stories of choices, experimentation and decisions that contributed to setting the Italian manufacturer apart as a unique brand. The “Engine Museum” is hosted in the workshop that was used by Ferrari’s founder Enzo Ferrari. It contains a few engines that were used in Formula 1 alongside the cars that sported them. Including Alberto Ascari’s World Championship-winning car from 1952 and 1953, Jacques Villeneuve’s F1 turbo and the first Ferrari to adopt KERS technology.
